Aleo Cosmetica was born out of love. Love for family, for roots, and love for care.
As the daughter of Portuguese immigrants, I have always felt that a part of me belonged to this land.
In Portugal, a child is the treasure of the home. They are the center of the family, the pride of every generation, the prince who deserves nothing but the best. Children are nurtured, protected, and celebrated. They grow up surrounded by affection, presence, and dedication.
It was from this deeply Portuguese truth that ALEO was born—from a profound desire to offer children skincare products truly designed for them, created with Portuguese rigor, care, and authenticity.
With 15 years of experience in the French cosmetics industry, we brought expertise, precision, and high standards to every single formula. But we also brought something you cannot learn from books: intention.
In 2020, at a time when the world slowed down, we decided to listen to what had always been inside us: to return to our roots and create something meaningful—a 100% Portuguese family brand, created by a family, for families.
Portugal is more than just a country. It is identity. It is culture. It is family.

A Heartfelt Promise
Our kids, Alexia and Leo, gave our project its name: ALEO.
We began with two essentials for a child’s daily ritual: a Gentle Cleansing Cream and a Nourishing Moisturizing Cream. Developed by a Portuguese laboratory with rigor, safety, and high-quality ingredients, these products were designed to respect delicate skin while creating moments of connection between parents and children. Simple, yet essential moments.
Our vision is to care for the entire family. We started with the little ones, but we are expanding to embrace the whole family. ALEO is minimalist. It is gentle. It is pure. And it is profoundly human. It is premium in quality, yet deeply human in essence—designed to inspire confidence and well-being.
We believe that self-care is the foundation for caring for others. We believe that when we touch a child’s skin, we are also nurturing their emotional security. Because to care is to protect. To care is to pass on our roots. To care is to love.
